T-Mobile
RBA partnered with T-Mobile in the design of their corporate office in Concord, CA. This 50,000+ square foot project was comprised of a multiple open and individual office spaces; varying sized conference rooms; open teaming, huddle, and focus spaces; multi faith, wellness, and mother’s rooms; as well as a work café, social hub, coffee bar, large partitionable training/break room, and reception area.
The vision for this space was to create a workspace that supports a healthy environment and a diverse workforce, while implementing a bold palette that compliments T-Mobile’s corporate branding and culture.
The design incorporated signature “T-Mobile Magenta” accent walls throughout the space, painted with Benjamin Moore’s “Hot Lips”. FSORB acoustic wall covering was utilized in huddle, focus, and conference rooms to assist with sound attenuation in this bustling space, along with large scale, sound absorbing LED pendant lighting comprised of felt-like acoustic panels in the break area. Employee workstations and cubicles featured ergonomic equipment, accent privacy screens in T-Mobile’s signature pink, and visibility to natural daylight. We brought in elements of nature by incorporating a biophilic carpet tile inspired by the naturally occurring lichen found on forest floors, as well as luxury vinyl tile replicating natural wood. The result was a modern, branded corporate office with a human-centered design.
